One of things we all love about having a Thermomix is being able to produce fresh meals quickly and easily. This is a quickly prepared tandoori marinade you can use on lamb and then cook to your preference. I used the Thermomix to cook it as well because I have become very lazy with my cooking, why stand over a frypan if your Thermomix can cook it for you!! Also by cooking it this way I was left with a delicious sauce that was soaked up by my rice - YUM! Eb x
- 1-2 Red Chillies
- 50g fresh coriander leaves and roots
- 30g fresh ginger
- 2 garlic cloves
- 20g fresh tumeric
- 1 tbsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp salt
- 20g olive oil
- 200g plain yoghurt
- 500g-1kg diced lamb
Place all ingredients EXCEPT yoghurt and lamb in the bowl and blitz on Speed 8 for 20 seconds. Add yoghurt and mix on Speed 5 for 10 seconds.
Marinade your lamb for 12-24 hours. You could use on any type of lamb and then bake, grill or bbq your lamb.
I used 500g large diced lamb and cook in the Thermomix along with all the marinade for 30 minutes at 100degs Reverse Speed Soft Spoon with MC off to allow sauce to reduce.
