I love a good quiche and this hits the spot every time! Bek :)
- 5 rashers shortcut bacon
- 1 onion cut into quarters
- 1 cloves garlic
- 1/2 bunch parsley
- 200g grated cheddar
- 5 eggs
- 150g cream
- Salt and white pepper to taste
- 1 sheet ready rolled puff pastry
Line a quiche dish with puff, prick and place in 180 degree oven to partially cook (when it comes out you will need to pat down puffed areas or you can blind bake with rice and parking paper).
Meanwhile add onions, garlic, bacon and parsley to TMX bowl and chop 5 seconds Speed 5. Sauté for 5 minutes at 100 degrees Reverse Speed 1.
Add eggs, cream, 3/4 of the cheese and salt and pepper to taste then mix for 4 seconds on Speed 4.
Pour into partially baked pastry shell and bake at 180 degrees until puffy and golden. Top with remainder of grated cheese half way through cooking.
