- 500g minced lamb (make your own if you can!)
- 80g red onion
- Handful of fresh parsley
- 50g breadcrumbs or burghul
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp baharat (middle eastern spice – we have a recipe on our website)
- Half a red onion sliced
- Handful of pinenuts
Add sliced onions and pinenuts to a bowl and drizzle in oil. Toss to coat. SET ASIDE.
Place 80g red onion and parsley in bowl and chop on Speed 6 for 1 seconds.
Add breadcrumbs, egg and spice and mix on Speed 4 for 2 seconds.
Add lamb and mix on Reverse Speed 4 for 10 seconds.
Press into a loaf pan or small round cake tin and bake at 180deg for 30 minutes. Remove and top with extra onions and nuts and return to the oven for 10 minutes.
