I really love a stroganoff and although I don't mind the EDC one, I prefer my own. Whilst the ingredients are not that different, the end result for me is more suited to my family. Eb x
- 700g rump steak sliced
- 1 red onion
- 1 garlic clove
- 15g plain flour
- 2 heaped tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper
- 1 heaped tsp Dijon mustard
- 100g white wine
- 50g water
- 30g beef stock paste (or vegetable)
- 40g tomato paste
- 100g sour cream
Place onion and garlic into the bowl and chop on Speed 5 for 3 seconds. Add 20g oil and sauté for 3 minutes at Varoma Speed 1.
Add rump, flour, paprika, salt and pepper. Mix on Reverse Speed 3 for 10 seconds. Cook for 5 minutes at Varoma Reverse Soft Speed MC Off.
Add remaining ingredients EXCEPT sour cream and cook for 15 minutes at 100deg Reverse Speed 1 MC Off.
Add sour cream and mix on Reverse Speed1 for 30 seconds.
Pour into Thermoserver to rest while you make sides.
