Fruit Bubble Slice

This recipe comes to us from Stephanie Pyne.  She found herself with an abundance of rice bubbles that couldn't go to waste.  A real winner with her kids.

  • 60g Butter
  • 200g condensed milk 
  • 80g honey
  • 80g rice bubbles
  • 220g left over cereal 
  • 100g dried cranberries and apricots
  • 25g desiccated coconut
  • 100g mixed rolled oats, bran, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, almonds, scotch finger biscuits

Add the left over cereal, 100g mixed rolled oats blend & dried fruit into the bowl and mix on Speed 5-6 for 3 sec then place in large bowl and add coconut 

Place butter, condensed milk, honey into the bowl and cook for 5 minutes at 100 deg on Speed 1.

Mix wet ingredients into dry then place in 20x30cm tray and leave in fridge for 2 hours
