Apple and Toffee Pudding

  • 5 apples peeled and sliced
  • 250g S/R Flour
  • 2tsp Baking powder
  • 250g caster sugar
  • 200ml milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 150g butter

 For the sauce

  •  110g brown sugar
  • 75g golden syrup
  • 300ml water

Lightly spray a baking dish with oil spray and spread apple slices over the base

In TMX jug add butter and melt 2 mins 100 degrees speed 2

Add milk, eggs, flour, sugar and baking powder and mix speed 5 for 15 seconds until pale and creamy

Pour over apples

Clean and dry TMX bowl and then add brown sugar, golden syrup and water to bowl, cook 5 minutes varoma speed 1

Carefully pour over cake batter

Put into 180 degree oven and bake 35mins until golden on top and a skewer comes out clean

Serve with cream or vanilla ice cream
