Shepherds Pie

  • 500g lamb mince
  • 1 onion cut in quarters
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 large carrot
  • 1 stalk celery
  • 10g olive oil
  • 400g tinned tomatoes
  • 15g Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 beef stock cubes
  • 30g kecap manis
  • 1/2tsp mixed herbs
  • Dash of cayenne pepper
  • 1tsp TMX vegie stock concentrate
  • 200g water
  • Mashed potatoes
  • Grated cheese


Add cheeses to the bowl and grate on Speed 7 for 10 seconds.  SET ASIDE

Place onion, garlic, celery and carrot to TMX bowl. Chop 5 seconds Speed 6.  Scrape down sides and add olive oil and sauté for 5 minutes at 100 degrees Speed 1.

Add tomatoes, Worcestershire, beef cubes, kecap manis, mixed herbs, cayenne, water and vegie stock to bowl. Cook for 30 mins at 100 degrees Speed 1.

When sauce is complete, brown lamb mince in fry pan and add to sauce.  Pour in to casserole dish and top with mashed potatoes and grated cheese
Sprinkle lightly with paprika if you wish and bake in 180degree oven for 30 minutes.
