Came across this recipe in a post about 52 Uses for Coconut Oil so of course I had to try it immediately. Delicious! The coconut is not overpowering and of course you could easily add your own flavourings like mint or orange. I did put the icecream in the freezer to set the chocolate because I was a bit impatient and the sauce had just been cooked. Definitely a great alternative to store bought. Eb x
- 100g coconut oil
- 10g cocoa or cacao powder
- tiny pinch salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla paste
- 20g maple syrup or honey (more if you want a sweeter sauce)
Add all ingredients to the bowl and cook for 3 minutes at 50 deg on Speed 3.
Pour over your icecream and enjoy.
