- 3 slices of bacon diced
- 200g macaroni
- 200g grated cheese
- Fresh herbs of choice ( I used parsley and sage)
- 2 eggs
- EDC béchamel sauce + 80g self-raising flour
Preheat oven to 180deg and spray or grease a muffin or mini loaf pan.
In a large mixing bowl add eggs and chopped herbs.
Add bacon to your Thermomix bowl and sauté bacon for 3 minutes at Varoma Reverse Speed Soft. Allow to cool and add to mixing bowl.
Cook macaroni as per EDC instructions but for 8 minutes, rinse under cold water and allow to drain completely.
While macaroni drains cook béchamel sauce as per EDC but add 80g of flour to make it thicker.
Add macaroni, half the cheese and sauce into mixing bowl and stir.
Spoon into tray and sprinkle extra cheese on top and bake for 30 minutes or until browned to liking.
Allow to cool in pan.
