After being nearly ripped off at a cafe, $5 each for a measly chocolate milkshake I came home with the promise to the kids that I would make them the best milkshake ever. I didn't disappoint them. These are going down a treat over the school holidays on the hot days. I'm not a huge fan of milkshakes (not saying I don't enjoy them but need to watch those calories) but these are worth the calories. Enjoy. Eb x
- 150g dark chocolate
- 300g milk
- 200g ice blocks
- 4 scoops of ice cream
- whipped cream optional
Add chocolate and 100g of milk to bowl and cook for 3 minutes at 60 deg on Speed 3. (If chocolate has been in fridge you may need to add a minute to cooking time).
Add ice blocks and remaining milk and blitz on Speed 8 for 20 seconds.
Place ice cream in glasses and pour milkshake over the top.
