Kentucky NON Fried Chicken

This is delicious and much healthier than take away. The kids love it. When you crush the cornflakes be careful not to crush too much and be careful not to over bake. Add flavours you like to the mix but it does need a little salt. Serve it with mash and gravy and some coleslaw and the kids call it healthy KFC. You can use breasts but they can be dry have found thighs to be the best with tenderloins great to do for wraps and chicken subs..enjoy. Amber x

Ready to be baked in the oven.

  • 200g cornflakes
  • 4 boneless chicken thighs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 70 grams parmesan cheese
  • 100g buttermilk
  1. Grate Parmesan for 5 seconds speed 9
  2. Add flakes and salt mix for 3-5 seconds speed 5
  3. Soak chicken in buttermilk
  4. Coat chicken in crumb mix make sure it is fully covered
  5. Place on baking tray lined with baking paper 
  6. Bake in oven for 30-40 minutes at 180
  7. While chicken cooks prepare mashed potato and either steamed vegetables or coleslaw.
